Is college even worth it?

Nicole Webb, Senior vice president/financial advisor at Wealth Enhancement Group said

The return on investment from college education has been declining steadily for some time now.

Four years of expensive college education is not the only path to personal and financial success.

Young Americans and their parents should carefully weigh all of their education and job training options to avoid going into crushing debt.

According to a Georgetown study, college became the default path, leading to a 169% increase in the cost of higher education from 1980 to 2020.

The way things are progressing, the value of a college education - both in perception and in reality - will vary greatly in 10 or 20 years.

Consider all options. Going hand in hand with the premium placed on college education is a terrible stigma about trade schools and blue-collar jobs.
